I recently had to reinstall Bridge and CS3 a month or so ago. all was working fine. Each time I opened a folder in Bridge all images were displayed and the keywords were shown on the right. I clicked to make each keyword "persistent". Every time I open a folder and file the proper keyword was checked.
However, when ever I try to use the "find" command the search reveals "no results". Yes, the keywords were spelled correctly and the case of the letters was correct.
After messing around for a while I purged the cash, purged the thumbs and deleted each Bridge Cash file from each folder. I then opened each folder and selected all to try to get Bridge to recognize the keywords when they are searched for. I checked the box in the "find" command to search non indexed files. It went through all the folders and still found no images.
OK I think I have solved the issue. I searched Adobe and found a suggestion to open Windows Explorer and navigate to Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Adobe\Bridge CS3 and delete the "Cash" folder in its entirety. I did this and then rebuilt the cash on my C drive and it worked. I am now in the process of rebuilding the cash for my external drive that holds all my archived images. If it doesn't seem successful I will post again.

What am I doing wrong? What can I do to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
