Two Hawks
I first put this up a while back as "Two Owls". Thanks to everyone for their help. They are indeed hawks and not owls - but what kind of hawk are they? Anyone help me on identifying these two big birds?

I got some more shots of one of them today with some sort of prey one of them had captured.

I apologize for the excessive noise - it was early morning and about 40 degrees outside and I was still in my night clothes.

My best guess, given the amount of detail, is red-tailed hawks.

Lou, glad you see you posting some things. I have not put much on, but plan on doing more. So those were in your backyard?

Thanks, Chuck. That's what I kind of figured. I'll try to post a bigger shot in a day or two.

David - hi again! They were actually in my neighbor's tree across the street.

My best guess is a Coopers Hawk. Not positive. Nice shot though!
