I'm afraid its another one!!
Had one last stint with these birds, as i need to move on to other subjects

Finally got some vertical shots that i am happy with, and also managed this shot, which i am 'sort of' pleased with, although not exactly what i had intended.

Unfortunately the bird landed on the wrong side of the bait {hidden in the small nobble}, which resulted in its tail being too close to the wires i used to secure the branch at an appropriate height for a decent bg. Ive had to attempt to add a few pixels of canvas on the RHS, in order to save the shot {may have to make a better attempt}.

I guess i could try a re-shoot, but i think its good enough for my purposes {with a bit more work}.

Nice shot alan, looks good to me, i'm unused to seeing GSW's like this, their heads look kind of weird when they are horizontal

Hi Alan,

Excellent shot. Very sharp too. I would be over the moon if I was able to take this.

Very nice, Alan. One of the best GSW images for a hwile IMO, a bit different as well, which is good.
