Tree & Sun
I just let a little of the sun peak around the tree for the effect and 'still' shooting at f/22, got the dew on the grass in. Your comments and critiques are appreciated. Cliff

I like the foreground and how it compliments the tree. You could have had a good deal of color in the sky with a grad filter, but if it was pretty bland anyway then I suppose it doesn't hurt to keep your focus on the sun and tree alone.

It was very bland, no blue at all. I had to lighten the f/g some also. Took many shots with big sun rays, but those had a big red spot near the center of the tree. Guess i could clone then in somehow, but i like this ok. Thanks.

Startling high key effect, here, Cliff. Something not seen much, if at all, in landscape images. Way to push the envelope. How about putting a a pinstripe line around the image or some other kind of frame? I'd like to see it that way, as I think the sun/sky needs an enclosure to keep the viewer on your intended subject. Hmmm, wonder what you'll try next? Fun to see people try new things– outside the formula, so to speak.

Very cool! Like the foreground and how you captured the sun..

I'm digging it too Cliff in a photo art sort of way. Great way to get past the bland sky dilemma!
