D2X ISO 250 1/800s -0.3 EV Sigma 500mm f4.5 + 1.4x @ f7.1

The female of the pair was happy to perch much closer, this is full frame.

Oh btw the brown along the bottom is a cow :smile:

Not very comfortable perch, look at the face of the bird. :biggrin:

Bird is a bit central, so would crop a bit from the left, losing the twigs, and maybe a bit from the top to balance. Nice warm light, as said. :toast:
