Hello friends,
well, its time to roll your socks over the bottom of your pants. They are out there again. Could be the greatest enemy of a nature photographer.
I wanted to capture a firebug and found this while I was setting the
tripod. Be careful out there.

Excellent image, but what is it? Some sought of nasty blood sucking tick? It has really got me curious. :wink:

This is an excellent image, but I would do some tidying up by cloning out the leaf imperfections.
You can keep that bug in Austria.

Nice image of an unpopular animal! I think I would be right in guessing that this is the first tick photo we've had posted on the forum!

Thankyou guys for your nice comments. You are lucky, when I come
home from a day in the woods I have to control my whole body about
ticks. When I'm out I roll my socks over the bottom of my always
brightcolored pants so I can see them easy.
