Broadwater
I managed to get out both Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
I hadn't planned on going out Sunday but since we received rain on Saturday I thought "what the heck".
Took this shot at Broadwater. It was my first trip there. I highly recommend for those that have not made it.
Please let me know what I can do to try to improve it.

I think this is a very nicely done tight shot of the waterfall that shows the character of the rock and captures the cascade above the fall. Good one.

Nice shot, Clayton. The greens appear a little flat on my monitor, like they could use some increased color saturation. I like the wet look of the rock. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shot. I agree, it could use a little more saturation. If you have Lightroom or CS3, you might work with the Clarity and Vibrance sliders. Was that shot at the first falls right off the road?

I'm taking a group of photographers to the area this weekend and Broadwater Hollow is on my list. This is a mixed group, consisting of Arkansas hikers and city folks who are concerned about hiking at Lost Valley. How is the road going down?

Thanks for the input guys. I will play with the saturation.

Mike- this is actually the second falls. The area that has one fall coming down the right and one on the left. Plan on posting a shot of the first falls today. ...after I bump up the colors of course.

The road in was in good shape. I drive a Jeep so I had no issues. I don't think I would want to take a car in there though. High clearance is important.

There were still a few azaleas blooming and some columbine. By the time I noticed the columbine (on the opposite side of the creek by the first falls) the light was awful so I did not get any shots of it. I might get back this weekend again to try to shot it.
