Yes, you know Spring has arrived in Colorado--its currently 86 degrees in Pueblo, and the snowflakes are flying in Craig, with 6-12 inches expected above 9K ft! Hopefully at some point in the next couple days the snow will stick below 9K ft, cause id like to take a quick trip to the Ramparts or Wets. Be sure to post your May snow photos

Stan, if I had time to shoot this morning, I would post one for sure. We are back to winter again, here in Park City. Amazing weather this year we have here. I was in Southern Utah this weekend, it was 90 degrees and I came back to freezing temps. I still have not change my snow tires on my truck and don't know if I should to it this year. Mountains are loaded with snow and I don't think it will melt this summer. They sure look pretty, though. After all, I still love it.

Yeah this is getting to be ridiculous. The wind's been blowing like crazy here in Ouray, and the satellites show the storm barreling into the state today.

Here's a snow pic from yesterday... it could easily be mistaken for a January/February scene!

Holy crap, Jack. My wedding is up at the top of Purgatory on June 14 and I'm starting to wonder if we're gonna have to take the lifts and wear snowshoes!

I was just up in North Park this weekend. The Park Rangers up there are saying it may be mid to late June before they open any of their campgrounds... A first for many years. At Big Creek Lakes they currently have 15' of snow and are expecting another 1-2' this week. That is amazing because I have been there in March before!

I also wonder if the snow will completely melt this year before it starts again next year.

Hey Jack, thats a nice shot--what elevation was that taken at?
It looks like from webcams its snowing pretty good at Vail, Estes, some wet snow but nothing sticking at woodland park.

Hey Stan, I took that shot from about 12,600'. We've got about 4-5 inches here in Ouray this morning... it's sticking pretty good.
