Hi Just another quicky from the weekend, an Orb Web Spider with prey, lucky to have got one sharp as there was quite a breeze blowing the web around.

All the best

Great shot of a Tetragnatha Phil, especially considering the breeze. Your control of DoF/BG is great.

Cracking shot Phil. Me, I know nothing about arachnids but a lovely picture. The background really compliments the web, having that dark centre and lighter surround.

Very nice capture Phil :toast:

I got a few myself on my early session this morning, when I went back I was going to 'stake out' her web as she was easily big enough to tackle a damzy - but the breeze had torn her web down.

Awesome beast close up, and I like the way the web disappears OoF - nice one Phil :wavey:

Like it a lot too, especially the way the web melts into the lovely background

Really good macro Phil, thanks for the macro advice on Saturday. I borrowed Tony's 180 and got to the site at 6:30, lets just say my minds made up and I'll hopefully one soon.

Love it Phil - although a fairly static subject not easy to do well!
