On the 4th of May I posted info on my first Photography Exhibit...
The gallery reception was on the 7th, and I had over 150 people show up for wine, some good cheese, conversation, and to have a look at 50 photos from my travels around the World.
It was a HUGE success!!!
I made a lot of contacts, saw friends I haven't seen in 30 years, and to top it off, sold 9 of my best!! It was a fantastic experience!!
People are starting to post 'Thank You' letters on this forum, to all who contribute so freely, and it's about time...
We all need to know where we came from, before we can really appreciate where it is that we might end up.
My work is a result of being in the right place at a given time, and the knowledge I've gained over time, about how to capture the moment.
Most of that knowledge I have has in one way or another been gleaned from the giving of the many fellow enthuiasts on this site, and a couple others..
I am by no means, finished learning, and will continue that process the rest of my life.
Stay in focus,
Dave
