Lovely shot Guy. Different from the usual viewpoint and nice to see the detail of the nest hole built up with mud. No nits from me, I'd love to be able to call this mine. Nice one.

Really like the position you've caught the nuthatch in, I've only ever seen them once before myself. Great image.

Very nice. Great pose from the bird and the construction of the net's mud wall is very clear.

Nice both as a pictorial image and as an educational one.

I like this alot-has pretty much everything you could want, I watched a couple of nuthatches yesterday feeding a starling chick-not too clever over here

Certainly full of interest Guy, and a lot more than a pure bird image!

Love the nest hole detail, and a nice crisp shot of the bird, especially at 1/60 sec {thank god these birds often pose for a few moments}.

Cracker Guy - classic pose in a rare setting :toast:

Makes a good follow-on to Eric W's image of one collecting mud from t'other week.

Nice one - even if you are a cheapskate (another story folks best kept for down the pub  )

Superb shot, never seen one like this before, I mean with its actual nest hole. Brilliant.
