Flatirons Spring Snow
I went out for a quick shoot this am - from Doudy Draw trail head, I wanted to capture the contrast of green grass with snow on the Flatirons while using the ponderosa savannah for middle-ground.

Wow. Nice glow. It appears a little tilted, but it looks cool that way and doesn't bother me too much. Well done.

Nice colors and the dusting of snow is cool.

Nicely composed Dave. You've portrayed the sense of ponderosa savanna very well.

It seems slightly too red/orange to me in the lowest portion, not in a way that feels unnatural, but that causes it to feel slightly imbalanced.

I like it, the dusting of snow is a nice touch. I think Mel might be right about a slight colorcast, although that could be the lighting here as well.

This is a beauty of a shot! It's amazing how much that simple cloud deck adds to it, versus a plain blue sky. I think the colors are pretty indicative of a nice alpenglow sunrise, which is typical after a storm like the one that rolled through yesterday.

Dave, that's nice! A refreshing perspective. I like the snow dusting and tree character. I've picked up the same reddish hue from the sunrise on the flatirons when I've shot there, and rather like it that way.

Nice shot. Beautiful light. Looks like it could use just a little rotation.

I saw this coming home from work this morning and I was wishing I was able to capture it -- I'm glad someone did. The colors were awesome this morning -- nice capture Dave!

Sweet shot of the flatirons, not the uaual viewpoint which makes this unique. Nice light and composition, perhaps a slight colour cast, but it could be the light!.

Thanks folks. The image was bubble-leveled, but I can see the slope falling off gives the impression of being off-kilter.
