Red Fox Cub
Red Fox Cub (Vulpes vulpes)
Following on from Daves great cub shot I thought I'd let this be my first post!
This is one of the youngest of eight cubs!
All of the cubs are still very young and still have that furry teddy bear look about them,I crawled towards the earth over a period of an hour concealing myself with a bag hide and lying on the floor amongst a large patch of rape, the cubs took little notice and would wander unconcerned within feet of me often coming too close to focus on.
Most of the time I just watched them tustling with each other, a wonderful time had!!!

Nikon D3,500 f4 afs2,is0 400,1/125 f5.6,Beanbag,Bag Hide,Unwashed Clothes!!!(Makes the difference!)

Cheers

Craig

I just love this. Soon these shots will be rare, since the human animal gobbles up more and more of their habital.I guess the housing market slump has stopped some of this tho, for a short time.

Fantastic shot and what a great experience it must have been to watch them in that intimate way. Congrats!

Excellent cub shot Craig. Love the low and angle and glancing look of the cub especially. Love them when they are in that teddy-bear stage. :toast: :toast: :toast:
