Helicon Focus Question

A question for those of you that use Helicon focus: Would you recommend purchasing the "pro" version of the software that has the touch up brush, or do you find the "light" version to be adequate? I intend to use the program for extending depth of field with macro images, but am unsure if the extra cost is justified or not.

Thanks in advance for any responses!

The freeware version also places some text near the bottom(?) edge of the image. If you compose loosely, this is not a big deal, but something you would need to keep in mind.

Other than that, it is a great program.

Standard version works well for me. After combining images, if I need to do any touch up I do it in Photoshop.

At the moment I'm using the basic version as I'm still learning but will be upgrading to the advanced version soon. Excellent program.

Here is an example of mine

Joel,

I have the advanced version but to be honest have never needed to use the touch up feature. I do like the software very much and use it pretty much anytime the wind isn't blowing too strongly. (smile)
