Morning Rose
My wife said I needed to post a flower so here goes. We just had a couple tenths of rain overnight. This is a new rose for us this year. Olympus E510 70-300 280mmEQ 1/400 f6.3 ISO100

What a beautiful capture! The color and light are really great as are the droplets of water! Well done! I've been really missing taking photos of flowers, especially the tulips back in upstate NY. We have wildflowers out here in Colorado, but its just not the same.

Your wife is a wise woman, Kerry. This is spectacular! The light coming through the drops makes this image really stand out.

Kendall,

I don't know what you did to save this image, compress it, etc., but the details are just spectacular! Great capture and great save,

Tim!

Kendall - I'll agree with Chuck here! The super picky part of me wishes for more uniform background as the bright area is a tiny bit distracting - but the flower is excellent.

Like the others, I do wish the background was better, but the water drops and the lighting on the rose are excellent!

Kendall, the detail and satureation on this is great. Let me guess, you used a tripod on this too. Yes the background is distracting, but that can be taken care of. Great image

The only other thing I might add, is using a reflector on the right side to fill in a little of the shadow. I don't alway use them but should carry one more often. Like I say, great shot.
