I love this shot Guy. Nice to see a different type of Gannet shot. Beautiful detail in the plumage and a wonderful expression. I guess some will find the out of focus foreground a distraction but it works very well for me as is. I have a trip to Bass Rock planned later this year and if I come back with a shot as good as this I will be Very, Very, Very pleased.
Cracker. Well done.

Very nice pose and well captured. The exposure is perfect. Jsut the sharpness is a tiny bit over the top for me. Hope to see more.

Cracking image Guy, a prize to come away with :toast:

Perhaps a tad tight on that left wing tip and along the bottom edge but I notice it more here than on the larger version you sent me.

Mighty fine image :wavey:

Hi Guy

Maybe a tad tight but everything else is excellent - love the pose, soft light and beautifully processed!
