Laurel Creek
This is something a bit more my style than my previous post
Driving home from West Virginia yesterday I decided to make a small detour and drove down to the Mount Rogers National Recreation area. I had not been there before but I will be going back!

Signs said this was Whitetop Laurel Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream.. not sure what that means.

And what a wonderful style it is Thomas. A beautiful photo from what looks like a beautiful place. I can see why you would be going back.

Hey Thomas,

I grew up near this area and Mount Rogers is where my love of nature grew as strong as it is today. I love this place! :toast:

Stunning.

You really nailed the water.

Thomas,
Really cool composition having the water flowing from different directions-a beauty.

I like it Thomas. I tried to explore the Mount Rogers area once, but it seemed difficult to find the real heart of the area. I know you have to get off onto the trails, so I look forward to exploring there some more.

Great shot Thomas. I have only been there twice and hope to get back soon, it is such a beautiful but very large area. You did a great job with detail and the right settings. Very dramatic image.

A classic TB image. Another nice one.
