Grand Canyon from above Deer Creek
I recently returned from a photo rafting trip down the Colorado River. It was a great ten days, except for the sand in my equipment, ears, hair, eyes, nose, etc.

This shot was taken overlooking the river from the hike to the upper part of Deer Creek.

Enjoy,

Tim!

Looks like you caught the rush hour crowd.
Who was leading your photo trip?

On my last trip, we camped just across the river near that sandy spot.

Hi Bill,

Yeah, this is one of the busier spots that we visited. On the other hand, we got to several other places where we had the side canyons, etc., all to ourselves.

This was an Friends of Arizona Highways photo workshop, lead by Ralph Lee Hopkins. We all had a LOT of fun! ;) Next year, the trip is supposed to be held during a full moon - sigh...

Nice shot, I like the inclusion of the rafts for perspective. It does appear the photo needs to be rotated clockwise a bit to level it out. I don't recall the river running at such an angle the times that I've been there
