He posed for me
my second post, it takes me awhile i had to go to california then to minnesota and back to iowa, 4400 miles laterim home.
I drive semi for a living for the last 30 yrs. work keeps getting in the way of what i really like to do.

This photo is of an egret that posed many times for me and gave me

lots of good shots.

photo taken at about 70 yards with a canon xsi and tamron 200-500

iso 100 - f/6.3 eos 1/640, cropped by half, once again taken at my

favorite marsh in green island iowa

Wally, a very unique pose of this specimen of a Egret! If you have Photoshop or any type of imaging software, I'd try and work on making the white of him/her whiter, or try a different white balance mode in camera as the white of his belly is alittle "muddy". Keep em coming as this is a good capture :toast:

Wally
Nice catch. I can imagine how frustrating it is have photography as a hobby and drive truck all around the country. It’s bad enough driving in a car and seeing all of the great photo opportunities along the road and not being able to stop.

Nice Wally I have been trying to catch a good shot of one, mine all seem to have a phobia for being captured. They are more skittish than the GBH.
