Crested tit
Just packed away my crested tit feeding station for the summer and processing a few of the results. This was a 'very nearly' shot as it had been a lovely misty morning and only minutes before, the perch was bathed in fantastic golden light - backlit - the works!. This is the 'now it's clouded over' version.

We've all been there, but this is still a nice shot.

Hi Peter,

Beautiful image! I love the pose and the way it's backlit! Lovely perch! If it was mine I'd lighten the image slightly (I know you'd probably blow the highlights around the subject but I think it'll work better IMO!).

Works for me also, although i think a touch of fill may have given it a slight lift.

Great bird, and attractive perch :toast: :toast:

One of my favorite birds-used to get them in my garden in France, only ever seen them here at altitude-great to see it backlit and a wonderful perch
