Having been encouraged to join this forum by a couple of my friends including Nick Armitt & Phil Hurst (Thanks guys). I decided to take the plunge and join a forum of like minded people and fellow photographers.
Anyway, this is my first upload so I apologise for any teething problems I might have, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy this picture of a female adder that I have photographed on a number of occassions.
I hope to post more of my favourite topic which is herpetofauna (reptiles & amphibians), I look forward to your comments and input on this subject.
Kind regards,
Brett.

Hi Brett,
Great to see you here.
Hopefully we can get out again this year for some reptiles.
This shot is up to your usual high standard but appears to have a red cast?
Hi Guys, thanks for that.. I guess the red cast may have come from the WB setting.. That coupled with the general tonality of the day. May try reducing the reds a little. Thanks for the valued info.
Brett.
Edit: Just went back to the image and reduced the red in the tonal curves and increased blue by about 3%, seems a more natural colour, thanks for that.. Although it was afternoon sun so was quite a warm light.
Thanks folks your comments are very much appreciated.. I have adjusted the file I have in the library and it does work well. Thanks for all your help and constructive critique.

The good folks on here are brutally honest, but excellent company, enjoy.
And on that note, another excellent adder shot, but it is a bit too warm!
