View From Bridge At Tremont
This is from the bridge at the end of the road at Tremont. I met up with a few friends a couple of weeks ago and we had a wonderful time in Cades Cove and Tremont. This is the only image I got of this view without wind blur in the leaves! D200, 18-70, polarizer, tripod, cable release.

Very nice shot! I to have been fighting wind blur the last few weeks. Even tried holding my breath to catch the right moment when the wind would stop for a second. Great depth of field.

Cool Alice. Every time I've stopped there, its been raining and windy. Nice shot.

Rain and wind at Tremont????
Very Nice Alice. I think we all had a learning experience trying to shoot this by leaning just so...then this way and then wait for the wind and then oh wait someone is moving on the bridge-ok now shoot!

I like it Alice. I didn't get any shots with the dogwood in it, like you and Alice did. Guess I didn't lean just right and wasn't tall enough. lol Strange how such a big bridge you can really feel when someone comes walking across. Wish there was a place at the bottom to get the full effect instead of hanging off the bridge. lol

Very nice image, the water is just enough flow and like you said, awesome to get without the wind blown leaves.

The greens are spectacular and I love the dogwood blooms and sycamores. My only nit would be the water treatment near the bottom - a bit too hot and it lacks any detail or texture.
