Looking for some advice / assistance. I'm going up to Bass Rock for the 28th June and will be looking for accomodation. Does anyone know of cheap B&B or a reasonable campsite in the area. I'm on a budget so nothing Ritzy!
Also, as it is a hell of a drive up there for me I was hoping to get onto the Farne Islands on the Sunday 29th. Do you have to pre-book trips or can you pay on the day?
Are there any other good photography sites in the area?
Any information at all will be gratefully received.
Many thanks in advance.

There are lots of little B&Bs in North Berwick which are very reasonably priced. Can`t remember any names off hand, but I would advise you to book online in advance, as if there is a golf tournament going on, then they may all be booked up. Happened to me!
When I`ve been to the Farnes, I`ve either booked at the kiosk on the morning of the trip, or sometimes the previous day. Best to book in advance if possible, to make sure you get a place on the popular all-day trip. This is the best one for photography, as it visits both Inner Farne and Staple Island, plus takes you out to see the seals. There are plenty of castles, such as Bamburgh, Alnwick (Harry Potter), and Dunstanburgh, in the area, plus the whole area is very scenic and great for landscapes. Holy Island is also worth a visit. I`m sure you`ll have a great time!
