Hi all
I have a triptich i want to post here. I can print it easily in Lightroom, but i want to email the set-up. I do have Photoshop CS3 but am a total novice at that, much more comfortable in Lightroom, but i can muddle around in photoshop. Thanks for any help.

Joyce - I'm confused by this. What do you mean by "email the set-up"? I'm going to take a guess :
You have a triptych you created by simply printing three images? So the images are still separate files?
If you want to post it here, just create a 720 pixel version and post it. If that means combining the three shots, then it's pretty easy to do in Photoshop. I only have Elements, but I'd imagine it's similar, if not simpler, in CS3. I would simply open all three images, and :
1) Do a select all, copy, and paste of two of them into the third image. All three images would then be on separate layers. You might be able to simply drag the thumbnails for two of them into the third.
2) Also duplicate the BG layer, which will help with organizing the images.
3) Increase the canvas size to 3 times whatever it's current width is. (Or more if you want a border between the shots, in which case you might want to increase the height as well.)
4) Use the move tool to slide the images to where you want them.
5) Resize the whole thing to 720 pixels on the long side by whatever method you'd normally use, and save at less than 200 kB (which could be tough depending on the file).
6) Post.
Hope this helps....and hopefully I guessed what you're trying to do correctly. I'm not sure this can be done in Lightroom, as it's not really meant for this kind of creation/manipulation.

Thanks David
I think this is exactly what i need, i have 3 separate photos i want to put together onto one piece of electronic paper (it is easy to make a printed version). I will give your plan a try, i know i have seen other groups of 3 and even 4 photos made into one posted on here, so it should be doable.
Many thanks.

I have done this in Lightroom using PDF Creator to print to a PDF file, there is an example on my website here http://marshallblack.co.uk/MBP_contact.html. PDF Creator is a free download, you can find it here http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator. You use it as a printer in Lightroom, selecting it under the print settings.
I have a triptych user template which I used for the example on my website. I simply select three pictures in Library and open them in the template under Print.
Hope this helps, if you have any questions feel free to get in touch.
