Spring Has Sprung In Durango
So happy to see spring arriving in full force in the Durango/Bayfield area. Things are finally leafing out nicely (at least to about 7500 ft). Here's a shot I took a few miles east of Durango this morning with the La Platas in the distance.

Oh man, what I wouldn't give to be sitting there right now!! Wonderful image Guy! Those greens just zing!

Looks like Pastorious Reservoir. Great Spring color.

You can get some fabulous reflections of the snow covered La Platas this time of year in that little pond.

Great color and quality of light. Although I do see some haloing around the trees. Probably just web artifacts.

Beautiful shot.

You are correct, Bill. I wanted to get this shot right now (with the spring greens and a fair reflection) as the forecast for the next week is wind, wind, and more wind.

Jesse, thanks for pointing that out. I worked this up a bit too fast for posting.

Great light and reflection!
I especially like the selectively lit grasses in the foreground.
You could probably stand to lose the errant piece of grass there in the lower left.
