Last Shot from Outing
The weather held for the spring outing. Plenty of opportunities for great shots. Here is the first of many more to come.

The fourth image is the spillway above Campbell Falls.

Gorgeous shot Pat, glad to hear that the weather held...and hope everyone had a good time.

Very much looking forward to more!

Patricia,

Great shot! Good composition. Hope mine will turn out half as well. Hopefully will start posting later this week.

Here is another from the NENP Spring outing. A few hot spots, but not bad thanks to John's neutral density filter.

Hi Pat!! I soooo love waterfalls and you've posted two really nice shots. The second looks pretty powerful. How tall is it? What's the name of it?

Did everyone have a good time? Who went? Can you post who did what where? A little commentary will help those of us who couldn't make it feel like part of it.

Thanks Pat !! I wish that we could have come along...

Silky water is one of my weaknesses. The first photo is very well composed and just has a peacefullness about it. Love it! The second one has such a different feel, torment and power.

I agree with Chris (Did everyone have a good time? Who went? Can you post who did what where? A little commentary will help those of us who couldn't make it feel like part of it.)

Chris and Lisa. We only had a small group of six. Jim Deasy, Mike Deasy, John Langsencamp, Ron Ward, Jim Santerre and me. The first shot is from Macedonia State Park where there is a rambling stream with lots of small cascades, the second is the top fall at Kent Falls. Upcoming will be Bash Bish and then I'll post one of Campbell Falls. We had a meeting on Saturday night and viewed everyone's images. Good companionship and good scenery. Missed everyone and hope more can come next trip. Sure did get enough exercise. Couldn't even move for a couple of days afterwards.

Here is the an image from Bash Bish for your review. Next on to Campbell.

This is the spillway above Campbell Falls. My legs had given out by this point so I didn't venture down the steep path to the base.

The fourth image doesn't provide much context for me, though I do like the processing and choice of shutter speed. I love the other 3, with #3 being my favorite so far. The inclusion of the sky is great, and the light perfect. I might consider cropping it to just above the log from the bottom though...

Wish I were there, looks like a great group and a fantastic group of shots coming forth! :toast:

Here is one of the many medium sized falls at Eders State Park. It was much easier photographing the other falls with overcast skies, but at Enders on Sunday a.m. the sun was bright and left me with many hot spots on the water. Oh well, it is still Enders and I'll go in the p.m. the next time. Enjoy.

Here is the last photo I will post. It is the most impressive of the falls at Enders. Because of the light, I only took the right portion of the falls which has various steps and drops. Note the small rainbow about half-way down. To the left is a wide "fan" or sliding cascade which was completely blown out because of the sunlight.

Hope more can come to the next outing, although we had a very pleasant visit with those who did come. Maybe the gas prices will go down in the fall.
