One from Pen-y-fan in the Brecon Beacons, earlier in the year. The landscape up there is incredibly bleak in the winter, it almost looks like the surface of the moon. There are a few raven pairs up on the summit and i spent a while trying to get some good flight shots, which i didn't manage, so had to settle for more of an enviro shot.
Much prefer this to a boring portrait. Very evocative birdscape shot. To be really picky, I`d like to see the bird just a tad higher and to the left, but the picture is still lovely as-is. Full-frame flight shots of Ravens can be had at Bracelet Bay, where Swansea meets Gower.
Great enviro shot Daniel. I wouldn't crop if I were you, fine as is. To my eye Ravens are synonymous with big open skies and this image shows that perfectly.

Brilliant image! I love it!
Love the 'wild, open space' feel
