I was intending to enter the Art Wolfe EPI awards this year which is apparently open to international photographers. Yet the online entry form seem to only allow residents of the US & Canada to register. Does anyone have any idea about this? My email to them drew no response.

I believe it is international, I'm not sure why they have that posted that way on their site.

I know for sure that it is international as I remember a few weeks ago reading a write up on the event. I will check on the site for a way to do it.

I see there is a customer service number to call from the order review page, 1-888-973-0011. I figured it probably wouldn't be available outside North America, so I tried it and received a message that the number couldn't be reached from my area (Calgary, Alberta). This doesn't seem very accommodating for a contest with the word "international" in the name. I'll try the number again tomorrow on the chance that it only works during office hours.
This year I haven't had a great experience with them I must say. After giving away so much money as entry fees, I learned that they had abruptly, and without notice or apology, arbitrarily changed the deadline for the competition from the 25th of May to the 24th of June!
