White wagtail
Hello friends,
this is from last week. My first try with my baghide. I am very happy with it. A wonderful feeling to be unvisible to a bird. Once it even underrun the minimum focus from my lens. This is an old rusty railroad track over a little water reservoir.
Canon 20D+ef100-400+baghide+tripod and stool. Very comfortable. RSE and PSCS. f11/320sec/iso200

C and C are welcome, thanks for looking.

greetings,

The colours are amazing - you've found an unbeatable BG for these wagtails!

My first thoughts Bertl, was that a vertical crop would be best suited, but now feel your chosen version is more appropriate!!

Nicely detailed shot :toast:

A superb composition Bertl. Great colouring. I'd be proud if it were mine.

Hello Bertl

I really like this image. It's got a strong monotone look to it. The bird is lovely and sharp and looking at us.

Very nice.

Regards

Hi Bertl, I too like the monotones here, - maybe just a bit too squarish ? :wavey:

Fine shot Bertl and bg complements the bird nicely. I reckon it would make a wonderful portrait.

As others have said already the background really complements this well.
