Well here is another attempt at the wild false blue indigo. I used a little different setup this time. The prairie is covered with these rascals, yellow and white.
Boy, This really pops! It's a nice compliment of colors and sharp where it needs to be. I think the out of focus FG helps the blooms "emerge" from the middle and adds a nice sense of depth. Good light and well controlled exposure. Nice work, Brad.

"Pop" was the word I had in mind as well. The petals almost seem to glow.

You've captured some great light here - especially on the top group of flowers. Just fantastic. I like the background (and lower foreground!) too - not distracting, but you know something is there. Nicely done!
This is really beautiful, Brad. The light could not have been better. Fantastic vision in setting up the composition, and the oof areas are so nice. Stunning!
Very nice Brad. I echo everything that has already been said about this one. I wish we had that color around here. We only have the cream colored ones.
Brad, your pictures of the flinthills this spring have been excellent. You inspired me to go see for myself and you are right, the indigo are everywhere.
You did a great job on this one for color and lighting but I'm not sure about the oof leaves in the forground. Not a big deal though. I wouldn't mind hanging it on my wall.

Fantastic light and color Brad! You've handled the exposure (and in my opinion) the composition perfectly. Great shot! Print this one big and bring it to the next LPA meeting!
You need to drag me along with you on your next excursion! (HINT HINT)
