Newly emmerged Four-spot Chasser from a session with El Guido Rogers (pro Terrapin Wrangler)yesterday
Sad that I couldn't get the case in the shot but "them's the breaks".
I was pleased to get this though as it still has an undeveloped abdomen and still has the bend in it from hanging upside down out of the exuvia; and the wing opaquness hasn't cleared yet.
We had been for a search of Chartley beforehand but the resident Odonata there were highly conspicuous by their abscence so we got to this location a little on the late side - and that coolish breeze was still about too so I shot loads just to make sure we had a few shots with no movement.
Have to extend a big thanks to Guy for the outing

very nice Andy. It's always a challenge to get a clean background as they often tend to emerge in the midst of the reeds. I like the colours in this one.

Cracking image and nicely framed.
I must keep my eyes open for longer when I am on my water side walks. Great spot and a great picture. Well done.
