Selling bagged prints?

Does anyone know of a company that can mount and cellophane wrap prints so that they are ready for sale? Or have any experience of selling such prints?

Is this something that with a little practice is easier and more cost effective to do oneself? Or is it best left to a professional?

Also does anyone have any suggested mount sizes for A4 prints? I'm thinking 11x14" as it seems to be a reasonably common size to frame.

Any thoughts much appreciated,
Thanks Tristan

Tristan,
I buy 11x14 mounts & backboards from http://www.picturemounts.co.uk/ for 8x12 prints, because as you say, 11x14 frames are quite common place. He also includes a bag for each mount you buy. I then mount & bag them myself. The backboards keep the print flat & stop it wrinkling up in time as well as making the whole bagged item look more professional. The bags also keep peoples grubby mitts off the prints!
Regards
Rob.

Tristan,

I make up my own mounts using a Logan Matt cutter and you can buy artwork/photo bags from the following:

Hope that helps..

It's also a nice touch to use small address tags to seal the bags giving it that little personal touch.
