The Eagle Creek Trail offers a postcard view of this falls from across the canyon - just slightly downstream of High Bridge. I got this yesterday on my 16 mile journey of the trail. It is truly a gem up there right now.

Thanks for your comments and critique.

You can say that right Ned. It's wonderful up there in the Gorge right now. This is gorgeous work as usual! It's very minor nit but I think I would like to see a hair more of room below the bottom of the falls. Don't know what you had to work with and it's still a great image regardless.

Thanks, Adrian... well, the position was on purpose for my part. The little splash pool empties into a white curl of water that drops down and enters Eagle Creek. To me it always looks weird having it in the photo, so I avoid it. With the water the way it is now in the main creek, it is just a white blob in the exposure.....

Gotcha Ned, makes sense to me. Figured you had it that for a reason!

I liked this because of the lack of big leaves and the ability to see up the stream a bit....if anyone knows the way to get into this stream, I would love to know....I would love to creek hike it up a ways!!!!

Well, Ned, you answered my nit about the image. As said, it looks great as is. My wish, conditions permitting, would be to see less of the trees above the falls and more of what the water is doing below the falls. Sure agree with you, though; a white blob doesn't sound very appealing...

Thank you.... Darren - that stream does look pretty untouched, doesn't it - I'd love to work it some day.
