Grass and Rocks w/Repost!
This one is going to get killed by the web. Trust me, it's dead sharp and highly detailed.

One whole side of our bedroom is French doors and windows. I simply have to roll over to check out the sky and see if the trees are moving. This morning, it was a nice gray sky, and dead calm. I got up, dressed, made coffee and headed out.
I drove out towards the Dalles Hills but stopped short when I saw an area with some interesting grasses, sparse flowers and rocks. It was calm, cool, quite and wonderful.

ok this works for your strange abstract stuff and will probably look killer printed and matted on your wall.....

I would just crop enough to get rid of the ulc........

Yeah, I agree it could use a little crop at the top. Bet it will make a great print with all that texture in the grasses.

I like it Mark. Nice eye for this stuff! I agree with a crop also, the simplicity of the two rocks inside the little circle of green works for me.

The swirling tan and green looks very nice here Mark.

Mark this works for me with a crop where only the two main rocks are left. Cropping both the rocks, sticks or whatever they are in both the L and R corners. Then I can see it going in your abstract collection! And yes the web compression will always kill these kind of detailed shots so I don't even bother worrying about that anymore. It bugs me too but what can you do!

Thanks to everyone for commenting,

Adrian, like this? This is a different shot entirely.

Yes, that is better Mark. Although my preference is a 2" crop off the top of the 1st post. Albeit it will throw your ratios off and you will have an odd size which you probbably don't want and I don't care for normally either in my work. This second one overall works better, much cleaner at the top.

#2 as well. The curve makes this. Nice one.
