Trillium
Following up on Joel’s shots this is a Trillium just starting the end of its life cycle. With this shot I placed a black cloth behind the flower (I’m tired of dried leaves as background). This is 8 shots combined with Helicon Focus software.

Very nice Phil! It almost takes on the look of a studio shot with the black background. Good composition, detail and lighting.

Very dramatic, Phil. I like the subtle "glow" around the edges of the leaves.
