Comments & Critique welcome! Thanks for looking!

Hi Everyone,

For those of you who don’t know, the Isle of Man is the Road Racing Capital of the World! For two weeks the TT Races take place and the Island becomes a mad place to live. Roads are closed for racing on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday with week one being practice week and week two being race week! This WEEK is practice week!

So getting around is quite a nightmare even on non-races days with thousands and thousands of bikers over here! So I’ve taken liberty of setting up a few places very close to home for some shoots while this mayhem is taking place (I love it really and have some Grandstand Tickets booked for the Seniors in Race Week!). The Manx Grand Prix is in August!

Anyhow this is set-up No. 1 and was only in place 25 minutes before this beauty hopped on! I just wished I had increased the depth of field a tadge, just too get the tail in focus! Oh, well always wise after the event! Glad to get the 600mm back out again!

Happy shooting,

Good comp Paul, but WB looks a little off to me on my screen.

Hi Paul,

I like this, although I'm not entirely sure about the composition, as it feels a bit unbalanced with that amount of rock on the left.

Cheers,

Dan.

A different twist on the conventional robin shot Paul!!

Agree with Dan that the large rock is an imposing element, although i don't think it overpowers the robin................and think it works nicely to my eye :toast: :toast:

Nice, Paul - I would crop a little of the rock to make a square comp.

I like the comp, Paul. It all looks a bit pale and washed out on my u/c monitor, but it's a fine shot.

Very nice I would crop it verticaly and place the robin at the bottom of the frame?
Best wishes

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for all your comments! Appreciated as always! I looked at a few different crop options and though I'd try square for a change! I've also given it a slight boost! Let me know what you think!

Many thanks,
