Hi,

Would you believe the weather the south has had? Still gave me a chance to get some submissions put together. This is from Saturday which was the only reasonable day of the long weekend, was attempting to photograph a couple of Downey Emerald Dragonflies (frustratingly failed) this was a popular place among the gathered Red Eyed Damsels.

All the best

Phil

Great image Phil! Never seen so many congregating together like this.

That is fantastic what a large gathering of Damsels, my only niggle; and its a slight one really, is that I would have liked to see the full reflection with all the flies on.

Reminds me of sticklebricks for some reason-not seen anything like this before-well seen

Simply superb capture Phil, you did very well to get that number of REDs in one image and with so much great detail throughout. Like this a lot.

Well done.

Brett.

Hi Phil

Would have thought a couple were cloned in if it wasn't for the reflection, never seen so many together.

A very nice image. :toast:

Nicely caught Phil. Not an unusual sight at a certain site we know, except sadly, not so far this year!

I think that's a tremendous shot. I really like the way that the bodies all line up on two parallel diagonals. Just great.
