Well, sometimes when I'm working with these animals it's nice to be able to get up close and personal in the confidence that one knows what they are doing and both subject and photographer can be completely at ease.. How does it make you feel being this close...? LOL!

Like the rest of you.. a couple of days sorting images and this is one from the archives.

Kind regards,

Brett.

Well, you won't catch me getting this close to something i have little knowledge about Brett

The best wildlife images, IMO, always occur when both parties are comfortable, and it shows in this fine shot!!

Nicely done indeed :toast: :toast:

Brett,

Honestly, I feel this is one of the best photos I've seen on the forum. Fantastic detail, composition, and subject. It's a very intimate point of view, and works brilliantly :toast: :toast:

Cheers,

Dan.

Another fine image Brett, Its still looking a tad warm on my monitor?
Would I get this close? yes of course, as long as you were holding the other end!!

Thanks guys,

Whilst it maybe a little warm, I have reduced it quite a bit and taking it any further just fattens the image IMO, I am quite happy with this one, but thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Absolutely fabulous shot Brett, great comp and I love the scale detail. The only minor thing that would have made this shot better was if both eyes fell within the DoF range, but still much better than any of mine!
