Monument Valley Park Waterfowl
The wife and I decided to stay close to home this holiday weekend so we went to Monument Valley Park (Colorado Springs), yesterday and today, and enjoyed photographing the waterfowl. Images are from this morning.

Wow, these are really nice! Esp. the first two, but all have their merits.

I agree with Jeremy, that first heron is wonderful, doesn't look like it was taken in downtown Colorado Springs! The exotic goose was a surprise, didn't realize there were any around these parts.

Thanks guys. Don, I had no idea what type a goose I was shooting until I got home and did some researching on the internet. I can honestly say I had never seen one of these before until yesterday and again today.

I like those first two shots as well. Cool find with that goose.
