Stream ripple
I spent the weekend at Kanopolis Reservoir. Not the greatest weather for shooting, with gloomy skies and strong winds most of the weekend, along with a thunderstorm to top off the weekend last night. I found this little ripple in a small stream leading into the lake. Cropped to vertical, 1/8 sec with circ polarizer under an overcast sky.

Nice, intimate shot Rob. The grass in the corner goes a long way in telling the location and time of year, The highlights in the ripples lead the eye down through the image. I like the reflections in the calmer water at the top. Thanks or sharing.

Rob, I like the earth tones in this shot and the splash of summer time green grasses. I also like how the ripples run diagonally in both directions. Glad you were able to get out and shoot in less than ideal conditions.

I can see what led you to photograph this scene, Rob. The part that works best for me is the ripples.

Rob very nice shot. I love the appearance of the criss cross pattern in the water. Nice prospective with this. Well done.
