Just a quick (probably dumb) question: how easy is to access the hoh forest from Ruby? Is it realistic to expect to shoot the beach in the morning, head to the forest then come back to the beach for sunset?

Yes, it's not that far away. You could easily shoot sunrise at the beach, late morning afternoon in Hoh, and then make it back in time for sunset.
Hey Younes, as Zack said it is not far away at all. If there is any clearing in the clouds I am going to make a run for the coast in the next few days - and I will give you a call !
Sweet! That would definitely be fun! I will be heading tomorrow and hoping for the best (WA state has never been really friendly to me weather-wise, so I figure my luck is bound to turn at some point :D
