Gannet Colony at Moonrise
I am amazed at the detail digital cameras can register as when I took this shot it was almost dark which was around 10.30. I have made two exposures for this picture one for the rocks and one for the sky and moon and then blended them together.

Canon 1D MK11, 24-70mm Lens, 30 Second exposure, ISO 200.

An artist you are. This is so amazing I can't stop watching it. The thing I like most is that the light seem to enlighten the Gannets eyes. See what I mean or am I the only one seeing sparkles

Thanks Danny.

An excellent shot, if not a tad over saturated- but definately one of those that has to be accompanied with a title for people to place it it context. - not to sure about the intensity of the red light trail (presumably picking up the red from the clouds illuminated by the setting sun) from moonlight
