Puppy
The image looks ok sharpened at this size-just a shame its not 100% at full res, I am having all sorts of probs with the MK3 since the firmware update, The A1 Servo is improved but the one shot is all over the place, I have sent files back to Canon and they wany ALL my kit in to check-They did say it would be better if i used a tripod  and that i shouldnt use one shot on a moving target-read sitting fox so am really pissed off with them-at least they are giving me loan equipment whilst mine is being calibrated-did i mention that the loan equipment is uncalibrated anyway this has a low shutter speed so could be camera shake (bet it isnt) so now i am shooting in A1 Servo for all shots-only 10 weeks and its all for sale

Thats a real poser Dave. Looks good. :toast:
Sorry to hear of your equipment problems. You pay all that money and shouldnt expect that as a result. Hope you get it sorted.

Sorry to hear you're not getting what you've payed for. Hope it will work out because you want good and decent pictures of these lovely animals. Good shot though.

Keep it up Dave - I know it's a pain when you have gear problems, but your images of these little chaps and chapesses are just brilliant :toast: :toast:

Beautiful Shot Dave.

Can't believe you are still having problems with the body, I am desperate to get a new body as mine is very old now but keep holding off maybe it is time to look at Nikon.

Lovely shot though.
I can understand your frustration. I recently complained to BT about a bad phone line and poor internet connections. They said "Try broadband !!"
Cheers

Looks mighty fine on screen Dave :toast: :toast:

I get the feeling that camera manufacturers have started tinkering in certain areas because they can..........and not because they absolutely need to.

Seems to me that the 1DMK2 focus wasn't broke.....so why try and fix it on the MK3 {just my general observation } .

a lovely image, at least the low res version looks pin sharp.

You have my sympathies regarding your kit problems.

shame about the camera problems - still a great image and your series of fox shots have been an absolute joy to look at so its not all wasted

Looks OK here - I still have see any real issues with my 1DS3 (its the same focusing mech and I have the latest firmware) so don't know what to say - I will be testing it throughly in about 2 weeks on very fast erratic subjects.
