My friend who kindly showed me the long eared owl is travelling from Scotland to Norfolk and would be very interested in seeing barn owls if they are around. He is very much into birding, moreso than photography. There have been magnificent photos on this site, so if anyone would be kind enough to give me any good sites to pass on, I would be delighted to hear from you by email.

Many Thanks.

Wiveton Bridge is a good one. It's just before Wiveton village (next to Cley-next-the-Sea) you stand on the bridge and look accross the river over the marshy field on a summers evening and you can't fail. If you're happy with a more distant view go the the Three swallows in Cley and sit outside with a pint and a pie and you'll see the owl quartering the fields between Cley and Wiveton. It's been the same for the last 30 years!

Hi Ian,

Agree with Dave, there was an Owl hunting that field when I went up for the White Crowned Sparrow. Also I have had very good views around Fakenham.

Regards
