It is with a significant deference to the great photograph that Bill Dark took of this delicate flower that I post this Columbine. I happen to catch this specimen right after a rain and at sunset.

Rod, you have a winner here. It looks like you caught the rain drop just in time! The color saturation is great and the shallow DOF makes this one stand out.

Very nice, Rod. This guy is in really good shape, with all the stamens still intact. As I'm sure you know, Columbines are not easy to shoot As top-heavy as they are with those big blooms - the slightest breeze will cause them to move.

Thanks for the great compliment. I must admit that I've always liked that shot from Broadwater two years ago...Oh yeah, I picked up my vest yesterday - thanks!

Hey Rod. Nice side lighting and you caught a good specimen with vibrant colors. I like the background with the touch of red too. Thanks for sharing.

Rod, a very nice specimen! Beautiful saturated color and triple waterdrops to boot! Well done!
