A recent shot and a change from my usual birds. It was known that the female was with a cub, but neither had been seen for three months. It must have been my lucky day as both mother and cub strolled across the track in front of us on the first evening I was there and went and sat on the top of a bank in the evening light.
The shot is full frame at 300mm .. I could here her breathing, and I'm sure she could hear my heart beat. Magic moment.

Dave

300mm : 1/125sec at f/7.1 and ISO200

gorgeous Dave, I know just how those moments feel and it looks like you controlled the adrenaline fuelled shakes better than me! Am heading to a developing reserve in Botswana in September and they had a good number of leopard estimated on their last game count, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
