Taken this weekend in the Gorge with Ned and John....Great to hike with you guys!

The moss was just incredible as the cool blue water was just the perfect amount coming over these little rocks....

ISO 100

Thanks for any comments critiques or suggestions!

Beautiful Darren, I love the greens and the translucency of the water is amazing.

This one is very nice, Darren. That black hole is sorta bumming me out though. I think the photo would be perfect with out it.

Mark, that is the underside of a rock sticking out......Ill work on getting that out of there!!! thanks

maybe brighten it a little, make it a little less black, maybe that will make it less noticeable.

Gotta love that moss, like a nice shag carpet! Looks good Darren except for the black parts on the rock already pointed out. If they were just a little light would be much less glaring compared to the rest of the image.

Really cool Darren. I like the color balance work here on the greens and the water as well. Great detail on the moss and rocks too. The only thing that is a little distracting is the top right corner could use a slight burn, but that's probably just my taste. Great job as usual.

Dont like this one so much. I dont feel like it is creative. Sorry :frown: perfect exposure and great processing though

Great color and processing. Compositionally however, I feel there is some tension. I like the fresh perspective though.

Classic comp. As Rick points out, I'm sure you're not the first with an image like this, but you've done it well.

If I had to make a suggestion, it'd be to add a little more space on the right... I wish I could see the stream flow a little more before it leaves the frame.

Nice job.

I LOVE how the water looks going over the rocks!

Much more interesting than a smear of totally white blurry water flow. I'm kinda bored with those... But, having said such a grumpy thing, I know it's so dark in some of these places that the look can hardly be avoided.
