Caught in Neighbors Garden
I was set up in my neighbors front lawn garden when she drove up in her car. Luckily she had a smile on her face and did not chase me off like they did when I was a kid playing in the neighbors garden.
Taken with:
Nikon D200
Nikon 70-200 VR lens
Nikon 2x Teleconverter
3 extension tubes
Remote release
Iso 200
f/11
1/3 second
35mm focal lenght 405 mm
and yes a tripod
By the way, I emailed her a copy of the flower and even gave her a screensaver.

Nice capture David, glad your relationship with the neighbors has improved over the years.

Beautiful colors, David. I like the vertical lines in the BG. (FG is really nice, too! :toast: )

She enjoyed the picture and screen saver I made.

Glad you like the image. I know it is real shallow depth of field, but between that and darkening the corners I think I was able to draw people to the point I wanted in the composition. I have mainly been a landscape photographer, but with the price of gas and all I have not been traveling. Been shooting a lot of flowers and will continue for the summer.

It's always good to have neighbors who are willing to share! Nice catch, David.
