This was my very first shot of the day, May 8. This little stream feeds Stack Rock Homestead Falls along the Ozark Highlands Trail. I shot this with the whitewater more off-center, but when I looked at it at home the extra space at the bottom and right just needed to go.

John I really like this. I think the water even though in the center works well. With the strong images on the sides, the cover rocks on the right and the fern which is placed very well on the left makes for a nice over all look. I also like the darkness of areas in the scene. Good job man!
Another beauty John. I really like this scene with the abundance of foliage on the left and solid rock on the right. I'd like to see a bit more of the stream where it makes its right turn at mid frame (personal preference).
Would you do me a favor and clone out some of that rock on the left to reveal more of the stream? Thanks for sharing!
This is really beautiful, John. I think the central placement of the cascade works fine here. The lush green foliage and lichen-covered boulders compliment the water very well. Nice!
John a really beautiful shot. The crop is perfect and I agree the ferns and lush greens along with the moss is a great combo.
A real keeper to be proud of!
