Roe Doe
from today, admittedly not the best shot of a roe deer especially with the OOF pylon, but this is the first result from a project that i have been at for some time and will carry on for much longer,

this deer walked about 10 meters from where i as sitting, without seeing me, about 1/2 hour before this shot, certainly an amazing feeling when a project you have been working at for some time provides you with such moments

That's what it is all about - those moments when the wildlife is completely oblivious to your presence. Okay, not the greatest, but it is a start! :toast:

There are times when bird/animal comes close that it is a real pleasure just to look and take in. Good start to your project Jack. :toast:

Jack,
These guys are sooo damned hard to get close to! I quite like it if you scroll down and chop the top 2/3rds of the shot!

Hi Jack,

It's a great feeling isn't it! Great start of a promising project by the looks of it!

I've been working on a roe deer project for a couple of months now - they are fiendishly difficult to get a good shot of!

thought the same as Dave - its then a bit reminiscent of the hare amongst the field of yellow flowers. Sure there'll be more great moments to come
